NeuroHope Ghana Associates Rockson Osei Mensah and Stephen Oppong are collaborating with our senior NGO, Centre for Learning and Childhood Development (CLCD Ghana), on an innovative research initiative exploring the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning to predict the risk of developmental disabilities among babies born preterm.
This partnership aims to support early identification, improve developmental outcomes, and strengthen evidence-based interventions for vulnerable infants through data-driven and technology-supported approaches within maternal and child health systems in Ghana.
In partnership with Centre for Learning and Childhood Development (CLCD Ghana).
Stephen Oppong led the training of data collectors for Centre for Learning and Childhood Development (CLCD Ghana)'s Kangaroo Mother Care implementation science study across six major hospitals in Ghana.
The training focused on standardised data collection procedures, ethical research conduct, and quality assurance to ensure reliable evidence generation for improving neonatal care and maternal health outcomes nationwide.
